Medical Students
Medical Students may apply for an elective at Stanton at any time in their training. Preference may be given to 3rd and 4th year students depending on the availability of supervising physicians. Medical Students travel and live inYellowknife at their own expense but a bursary may be granted to offset living expenses. Meal tickets for the Stanton Hospital cafeteria are provided during their elective.

Medical Residents
Stanton Territorial Health Authority partners with the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta to provide specialty rotations in the fields of Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology.
