Where your donation dollars are spent
The after-expense funds of $185,211 from the 2007 Run have been distributed to:

~ the Avon Flame Foundation, for national breast cancer research ($46,275);

~ Stanton Territorial Hospital, for the establishment of a special fund for major breast cancer related equipment such as a digital mamography machine ($58,936);

~ the NWT Breast Health/Cancer Action Group, to carry on developing breast cancer projects and services within the NWT and awareness of breast health at the community level ($35,000); and

~ Stanton Territorial Hospital, to reactivate and expand the Patient Navigator position ($45,000).
