A Message from the CEO

As the name implies, Stanton Territorial Health Authority is a Territorial resource and provides a range of quality care services in keeping with its mission of restoring health with dignity.  Services are provided beyond the walls of the Hospital through Stanton’s Mental Health Clinic, the Eye Clinic as well as the Environmental Health Offices in Yellowknife and Inuvik.  Travel clinics are also provided in many communities in the NWT as well as western Nunavut for specialist physician services,  and rehabilitation services.

Through our partnerships with the other NWT Health and Social Services Authorities as well as with Capital Health in Edmonton Stanton is able to effectively contribute to the continuum of care provided to the residents of the NWT.  This is largely due to the dedicated and caring staff who work diligently every day to provide excellent health services.
